  2. Enables you to address difficult subjects in an accessible way
  3. Gives a voice to those who often don’t have one
  4. Allows a populist approach
  5. Can be more effective because of the interaction between the elements.

Football for Development 2011 PragueI have attended or spoken at conferences on sport and development in UK, Czech Republic, Germany and Slovakia, working with Liverpool Hope University, Fotbal Pro Rosvoj (Football for Development), INEXSDA and DEEEP.

I have worked on projects in the UK with CAFOD and OWNNE (One World Network North East) and in Liberia with Don Bosco Homes and Millennium Stars FC.

My media strategy for Millennium Stars FC (see link) tour of the UK in 1999 won the ‘Best Public Information Campaign by an NGO’ at the One World Media Awards in 2000.
